The American University of Nigeria,  Yola, seek to recruit for the services of a Permanent Web  Designer.  This position is a local one open to indigenous and/or legal  residents  of Nigeria.

Summary of Position:
The Web Designer will be responsible for  all web design layouts while  seeking to work as the AUN custodian of  the brand image in content,  quality, and general outlook. In achieving  these objectives the Web  Designer shall primarily support the Lead Web  System Analyst by  assisting in a variety of website-related technical,  administrative and  clerical duties necessary to ensure the efficient  implementation of  AUN's web presence initiatives in accordance with  AUN's vision, mission  and purpose. Maintains website data and perform  related statistical  analyses. The Web Designer shall also assists the  Lead Web System  Analyst in the management of web content, Administers  AUN's online  social networking initiatives, while developing and  implementing of web  systems. Develop graphic design and communications  tasks as may be  periodically required.
Position Requirements:
- A University degree in Web Design, Multimedia Design, Fine Art, or Computer Science with excellent computer manipulation skills to achieve all design projects.
- At least two years industry experience with a credible and challenging organization is essential.
- Must possess high technical capacity for web designing.
- Experience working as a Web designer in a modern reputable organization will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe creative design, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & flash, XHTML/ HTML, DHTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT & JQUERR, AJAX PHP frame work
- Must be closely in tune with changing professional perspectives and approaches in technology and applications.
